OUR STORY

2000

Founded in 2000, Colégio Piccneli was born in a small house. And it was named after the character in a children’s book. At this time, it only served Early Childhood Education students.

2006

In 2006, Colégio Piccneli began working with Elementary Education, responding to the requests of parents and students who were finishing their cycle in Early Childhood Education and felt very sorry about having to leave school and be separated from all the colleagues who attended it.

2009

The new Play Space and Court were inaugurated, providing students with new environments to develop their learning and socio-emotional skills.

2012

Colégio Piccneli has once again expanded its space, this time for Fundamental Education, offering students larger rooms that help in the development and implementation of various activities.

2020

With the advancement of the new Coronavirus pandemic, Colégio Piccneli reinvented itself and, in March 2020, prepared its team for quality virtual teaching, with countless innovations, being one of the schools most prepared for this change in the region.

OUR OBJECTIVES

Colégio Piccneli believes that true education is achieved through pedagogical practice that provides opportunities for achievement, creativity, organization and cooperation between educators and students.

In an environment of freedom of expression, responsibility for actions and mutual respect, we offer conditions for the development and improvement of students’ potential, considering and respecting the individual differences of each one, seeking to effectively contribute to a solid cultural and moral formation, making them citizens capable and honest, aware of their active participation in the construction of a fairer and better human society.

PEDAGOGICAL PROPOSAL

The pedagogical project at Colégio Piccneli is aimed not only at the assimilation of subjects, but also at the formation of a complete individual, who learns to think, criticize, discuss, participate, and have responsibility towards the world in which he lives. The objective is not just to transmit content, but to qualify the student to be an agent of transformation in their world.

Colégio Piccneli offers transdisciplinary teaching through its permanent projects, promotes research and encourages reading, writing, logical thinking and socio-emotional skills. These activities are essential for the child’s integral development.
