Although Religious Education may be more focused on a specific religion, it does not aim to indoctrinate students or convert them to the context. It is, in other words, a discipline that seeks to develop students’ reflection on the teachings and values of most religions.
From there, debates are held on these topics and their importance. After all, the values of a religion are universal and are contained in very important documents, such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
